METAL ROOSTER– 1921, 1981

Once upon a time, you were marked with the spirit of industriousness!  Can you be called opinionated, yes!  Pecking order in your life is a must.  You live for recognition!  A stickler, for plenty of detail!  You have a mind of your own and it’s a strong willed one.  You really like to shout a lot, and loudly!  You need many admirers and/or lovers to help sooth your ego!  You are also noted for your high hygiene standards and sterile cleanliness!  Roosters have no problem overriding an opinion!  Like all roosters you need a good helping of routine.  You all like to look good and fluff your feathers and strut, your stuff.  Your eyes are piercing.  You also like to swear when you communicate.

WATER ROOSTER – 1933,1993

Once upon a time, you were marked with the spirit of fun!  You are charming, flattering or very insensitive.  Don’t expect a rooster to back up when they’re angry.  It won’t happen.  You make good and sure they are eye-to-eye with the opponent.  Tremendous energy!  You are no lazy rooster.  You like to lead.  A rooster, rarely follows anything or anybody!  Water roosters never hesitate to holler for help.  Practical thinkers you roosters.  Now, I have to say you are known for being critical.  However, one doesn’t dare to criticize you back unless they’re looking for a good hen or cockfight.  Good at pecking people into action.  When you’re up, they’re up!  Health and medical concerns crop up often.  Pharmacies and health food stores love you.

WOOD ROOSTER – 1945, 2005

Once upon a time, you were marked with the spirit of consideration!  You are more considerate than your fellow roosters.  Gullible, there’s another word for you!  You are very lively and full of life!  On my, yes!  Your challenge is to watch you don’t stretch yourselves to thin.  Fair-minded and socially adept describe you well!  You are a very reliable type rooster!  A rooster, is a rooster, is a rooster.  Therefore, tick them off and you will hear about it, and I do mean hear about it.  Honest folks, oh yes!  We’ll all give you that!  You are a tad too loud to ever be sneaky!  You take great care of your brood, whether they like it or not.  I suggest they like it.  One thank you to them, goes a long, long way!  Even if you’re not sure they appreciated it!   Roosters are pretty good with their manners as well.  No slobs in this hen house.

FIRE ROOSTER – 1957

Once upon a time, you were marked with the spirit of extremeness!  You do everything in the reverse order.  Not to you of course, just to others!  From little to big things, things get done in your way, in your time and your pecking order,   correcting others as you go!  Well, why shouldn’t you?  How else will someone learn?  Right rooster? You are highly motivated creatures.  Flexible is just not your style though!  Authoritative, that’s more your style!  Believe me, if you aren’t saying something about something, count on it, that you are thinking it!  You have wonderful managerial skills!  Whether you are a manager or not.  Compromising is simply not the first or second option that comes to your mind!  You are great at stirring up public image!  You honestly do hold noble intentions and it’s only fair to say that you are very ethical.  For Pete sake, you are too busy trying to convince someone of a better way!  You don’t have time to be underhanded, or inconspicuous.  Many roosters have success stories! 

EARTH ROOSTER – 1909, 1969

Once upon a time, you were marked with the spirit of convention.  I mean you are a conventional thinking creature.  You scratch and dig the truth to the surface.  Rigid morals are very important to you!  A very determined rooster!  Not quite as talkative as some!  Hey, I did say you could cut the heads of people with your tongue.  No mincing words, what’s the point.  You’re a hard marker on yourself and those around you!  You remind me of the story of the Little Red Hen!  Strict educators, and taskmasters.  A critic to fear.  Generally, you are very well off.  You reap what you sew.  These are the reasons you are to be admired and needed?  You love to be very productive and responsible!  Like all roosters, you l-o-v-e- to talk!  Tell it like it is, right rooster?
