  PISCES – Mutable Sign

Dear Pisces, you are the diehard romantics of the zodiac.  Fantasy is your specialty.  There is nothing sadder to look at than a Pisces without a partner to woo. They listen to anyone and everyone, whether they want to or not. They walk lightly on their feet. Most Pisces people glide over the top of the surface almost like they are floating. Their feet by the way, bring them their greatest pain and pleasure.

The twelfth house of Pisces is known as the house of the drawn shades. When Pisces wants privacy, they shut the blinds or curtains or lights. The Pisces motto is, "make love not war". I haven’t met one yet who didn’t like to slow dance with their lover. 

Pisces are fantasizing creatures. They are more than capable of telling you they are going one place, but head straight for somewhere else. They don’t like heated arguments or rude behaviour. 

When it comes to love or truth, they are the wise souls of the zodiac. However, too much profound thinking is just too much for the soft-hearted Pisces. These souls are always up for fun, laughter, and parties. Toss in some pillow talk and music, share a few dreams and Pisces is putty in your hands. They also have a very deep running spiritual side that sooner or later gets developed.

They always love to patch up stray animals, down-in-the- dumps humans, or will many times be caught with a baby cradled against their chest. They often will try to laugh off your injury, trying to make light of it. Whether it is appreciated or not is another story.

Pisces love to host or organize celebrations. Especially surprise events. They don’t have a greedy bone in their fish body.  Many have heavy eyelids. Many of them mumble as they are moving. It makes no difference in which direction they are headed; they are right at home walking and talking. Their movements are quiet; delegating loud and soft whispers is what their lover will hear. 

Find a Pisces nursing a broken heart, pain or disappointment, and you will find them located in a dark room, shades pulled down and a nice cool temperature. In the evenings, they will be easy to spot as they may be cleaning their homes inside or out.

On the lighter side of things, they have a great sense of laughter.  If you want to lure one in, suggest a picnic, barbecue or party and they’re there.  It’s very hard for them to turn an invitation like this down.

They almost always clean by making a big mess first. Stroke by stroke they swish things around until it’s looking better than before. How they sort through it all sometimes is a mystery.

Their words are gentle, but frank and firm.  Children and Pisces go together almost as much as children and Cancer. Pisces is drawn to infants in particular.  So let them push the stroller and take baby on long walks in the cool summer evenings. If you have a Pisces in the family, the baby will definitely have the latest trends. 

Prejudiced they are not. Sympathetic, nine times out of ten.  Pisces change their address a lot, particularly the females in the early years. Fish are always searching for new rivers and oceans to swim in. Very few Pisces have fond early memories of home they can return to. They often envy this quality of childhood in others. They admire strong roots. Perhaps, that’s why in later life you come to visit them while they stay put.  They gladly give up their days of wandering. So, don’t be shy, they love company and you will tune in very quickly if it is a night when they prefer romantic or depressive privacy. They simply won’t answer the door, and if they do, it will be very brief. 

They feel like fish out of water if they are seated without a drink of some kind before them. They love to be around sources of water and water sources. 

Pisces love a fairytale marriage, childbirth, graduation, anniversary, etc. It’s not uncommon that they renew their vows, or remarry their same spouse twice. They love new beginnings and happy endings. Pisces is gregarious, spontaneous and ready to listen. They will always have a favourite song that is treasured for years between them and their lover. They love to call in dedications on the radio for their lovers, or spend hours in pleasure as they put all the finishing touches to a gift or surprise. They often will buy two of everything.  Extras, they love extras.

Neutral Pisces don’t jump to attention to be noticed. When romantically interested, they will swim toward you upstream or down. Pisces romance lives on like Cancer and Taurus.

Patient Pisces are good at waiting and good at learning to draw the line. They invented the concept of parking and drive- ins. And second honeymoons.

They are not power hungry creatures. They prefer being behind the scenes, which allows them more freedom. They enjoy being involved with a group, bus tours, and children’s outings.

Basically, they live to celebrate life…. So here’s to you Pisces,
