Dear Libra, you will
be happy to know that I am writing this sun sign by
candlelight. ‘Love
and Bridges’, that’s you.
It’s also the title of one of my songs.
Compliments, I’m sure of from my Libra moon.
One
of the best descriptions of Libra I ever learned is this.
Libra is an iron hand graced in a velvet glove.
I only wish I knew who wrote this, so I could give
them the due credit.
Venus is the true ruler of Libra, and for the time
being for Taurus as well.
Therefore, partnerships and relationships are
paramount. Libra’s
were born to unite!
Do
you remember the dialogue of Walt Disney’s Chip and
Dale? “You
go first, no, no, I wouldn’t think of it, you go
first”. Well,
it should be as plain as the nose on your face, that
neither Chip or Dale was an Aries.
These two chipmunks have Libra written all over
them. They
are polite diplomats, who weigh things back and forth and
have a tough time making a decision.
It’s not that they can’t make a decision.
Libra simply has to dip back and forth like a set
of scales before they can find their inner balance.
Libra
is always doing a balancing act.
They are fair minded, refined souls.
They crave harmony in all areas of their life.
Libra’s all know what they want, but they never
like to come straight out and tell you.
Artistic expression is another Libra trait.
If you have ever listened to Alan Jackson’s,
‘Where Were You When The World Stop Turning’, you will
know precisely what I am referring to.
I
believe that Big Bird must have also been a Libra. Big Bird has the tallest respect for cooperation.
Big Bird is a great negotiator and didn’t like it
when those on Sesame Street didn’t get along. He had strong beliefs just like Libra. Although, I’m not exactly sure where our good-natured
friend hid his dimples.
They must have been buried under all those feathers
somewhere. Many
Libra’s are marked with dimples somewhere on their body.
Many
people with a heavy Libra influence may also dawn, a gap
between their two front teeth.
Libra will generally have one side of their face
different from the other. My Libra moon blessed me with one high cheekbone more
pronounced than the other one.
For some other heavily influenced Libra’s it may
be that one eye is smaller than the other one. See
what I mean? Strange as it sounds, it only seems to add to Libra’s
charm. This
imbalance is generally so subtle that most times you have
to look very closely to discover the difference.
Leo’s
aren’t the only ones with a great smile.
Libra and Libra influenced are also known for their
great smiles. They
love the use of color and are particularly fond of pale
pink and blues. Also,
like most Air Signs they are very big on rainbows and
fireworks. However,
they would prefer to romanticize under a display of
fireworks without all that loud noise.
Libra’s are quiet creatures.
Libra’s
are definitely the peacemakers of the zodiac!
Libra’s make great mediators, because
understanding and communication are extremely important to
them. Long
lengthy discussions won’t put them off.
Libra isn’t afraid or too full of ego to ask for
advice either.
Collaboration,
cooperation and ongoing communicating are pure music to
them. Libra’s
generally never like to intentionally tip the scales one
way or the other. That being said, they also are very gifted at seeing and
stating both sides of an issue.
Without fighting tooth and nail that is.
Libra’s make better lovers than fighters.
Much like Pisces in this respect. It
might be of interest to know, a Libra will never throw the
first stone, but this doesn’t mean they won’t throw
one back. Remember
that they like to make sure both sides of the scales are
balanced, because they will!
“Libra,
Libra with your gentle touch, the world needs you so very
much!” “Buy
her roses, write him a poem, but never ever should you be
alone”. Libra
shows the world how soft sexy can be.
How gentle resolves conflict, how tenderness can
spread positive seeds!
Last, but not least, how mankind can be so cruel
when kindness would take us so much further with a little
more compromising from both sides.
It
is because of all of the above reasons that you make
friends so easily. Libra
is sociably adept and as Libra gets older relationships
will take on bigger roles. Remember the song,
“You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Loves
You”…well, that’s the Libra motto.
The
best advice I can give to Libra is to study decisive
people. Learn
from them, how to put all of you and not just half of you
into moving in one direction. Too much running back and forth all the time will just end up
making you dizzy, and exhausted.
Think things through yes, but don’t be afraid to
draw a line in those, cotton candy colored clouds.
THE
SHADOW SIDE OF LIBRA:
(This is the side of any sign that I refer to as our own
evil twin). The
characteristics of our dark side, that needs to be worked
on throughout our lives.
