  LEO – Fixed Sign

Dear Leo, I probably should let my sister write about your sign, she is drawn to Leo males like a magnet!  If, I were to sum you up in one word it would be fun!  I’m sure she would agree.

For goodness sake, where are my manners!   I forgot to tell you how nice you look today.  Why you shine like a new penny!  Pardon me, I meant a nugget of gold!  Leo loves to give and receive compliments.  They like to situate themselves around things that give off just the right amount of heat.  Such as, a well tended campfire; a romantic fireplace or a room filled with an abundance of candlelight to bask their regal soul in.

Leo parents always speak proudly and regularly of their children.  They love to introduce them to strangers or a friend.  The bigger the audience and applause, the better they like it.  There is barely a Leo alive that can’t make a child smile.  That alone is a precious gift bestowed upon Leo.

Loyalty, in enormous measures is what their big lion like heart craves for.  They require constant attention and affection.  They rarely shy away from the limelight.  This applies to both types of Leo.  There are two types you know!  The shy pussycats, and the roaring lions.  You will recognize very soon which one you are dealing with.   Both types, play hard, sleep hard and work hard.  Here’s a Leo tip!  The male lions stroll slowly along like a freeze- framed view of a line backer.

One more tip for you!  Leo born, love compliments, but praise carries a heavier value as far as they’re concerned.  It simply strokes their ego and makes them purr and purr and purr.

Leo’s love to be front and center when it comes to standing in the spotlight.  Well, none of the zodiac signs are purrfect!  Leo does tend to be overly proud and they absolutely love to strut, their stuff.  They light right up when they are on the prowl.  You’ve got it now, when you notice that proud or vain side.  Many a Leo has had a dream of becoming a Hollywood celebrity or star.

Those with a Leo sun sign hate to admit when they are wrong.  Well, what sign doesn’t?  Especially, the ones born under a fire sign!  My goodness, where would the glory in that be?  Who ever heard of a king or queen admitting that they were wrong?        

There’s nothing sadder than to see a Leo who has lost their shine.  Do you remember the Wizard of Oz?  Do you remember the cowardly lion that lost his courage?  That didn’t fit his costume did it?  I’m sure we all prefer the funny, fun loving side of a Leo. 

Leo like the lion loves to yawn and stretch!  They do this at two different times, one, when they are tired, and two, when they are bored.  You might want to keep this in mind the next time your Leo friend starts to yawn. 

Leo’s favorite song is love, love, love - all you need is love!  If, you are silly enough to turn down their affection, you may as well rip the heart from their chest, throw it on the floor, stomp on it and then kick it sliding across the room.  What a cruel and hurtful act this is to a Leo.  Forget trying to break out the flattery now.  You would be better advised, to pull out the good stuff.  You know jewelry, flowers, and a whole lot of temporary slave duties.  They will let you know when you are forgiven, in the mean time, smile and pour them some more wine.  Now, this sort of treatment will make them get up and want to dance again, something all Leo cats or kittens love to do.

Leo is the fifth sign of the zodiac.  This makes them very loving and creative souls.  They make very dramatic story -tellers, performers and musicians.  Have you ever noticed their posture?  No one can out do Leo when it comes to good posture. Who has ever heard of, or seen a humped back king, queen, prince or princess? 

Leo’s ruler is the sun.  That explains why they like to shine all the time.  Have you ever tried not to notice a Leo?  Whether you are attracted or repelled by a Leo person it is very hard not turn your head and notice them.  Perhaps, this explains why the shy ones too, love to smile for the camera.

Does anybody know where there’s a mirror?  Of course, Leo and Capricorn!  Leo will pretty much use it for everything.  Capricorn’s main interest in a mirror is for the purpose of fixing their hair.  Most felines wouldn’t be caught dead without retouching their make up and primping themselves before they strolled through a park or mall.  

Leo loves a flashy name too!  Eileen, for instance, may not sound that exciting or gather the amount of notice a Leo craves.  However, what happened when one feline changed her name to Shania? Ah, the world began to notice!  I’m sure a Leo motto must go something like this.  “If you pour on the flash, it will help attract cash!”
