Eastern Zodiac
Chinese Astrology
You and I could spend a lifetime
studying astrology! Instead,
I’m giving you the benefit of my
approximately two decades worth of expertise on the subject.
Well, at least a condensed version anyway. Astrology goes far
beyond what gets printed in daily newspapers and on those
restaurant place mats we all enjoy reading!
The fact that there
are over 8,640 basic factors to look at, should be one’s
first indication that this is an
extremely complex subject.
Most readers may be surprised
to learn that there were originally 28 animals.
You and I are only going to
be concerned with the 12 commonly known ones here.
Each person has four
main areas to consider in Chinese Astrology.
The year of birth, month of
birth, day of birth, and time. Then, multiply that by the
five different elements.
Excluding one’s time of birth, if you multiply
12x12x12x5 you should arrive at
8,640 combinations! I
haven’t even touched on the different male
/ female aspects! I’m
also not speaking of the differences attributed to
each sign when broken down into the categories of
friendship, family, business, love etc.
However, I think if you walk through what is being presented
here you will find more than you need to gain insight into
one's own Eastern Zodiac Horoscope!
Exploring your
astrological path or someone else’s can be fun,
exciting, and enlightening on any
level. Please refer to the Eastern Zodiac Calendar if you
are not certain of your eastern sign.
(Western zodiac information can be
found posted in Wigwam A).
The main purpose for
including astrology on this site is to hopefully encourage
my readers to expand their language
of the stars. Father
Sky has always been highly regarded
by the Aboriginal peoples.
Great answers are found above and within
us all.
The patterns of the
stars were long established before you and I came to be.
They will still be here in
these same patterns long after we are gone.
I do not believe they were scattered
randomly without intelligence.
Mankind has pondered the messages in the stars
from its beginnings.
Some study what is above us,
some study what is around and below us.
The greatest minds of all curiously seek
to study everything they can!
Good fortune and happy
hunting,
White Sparrow
