METAL DOG – 1910,1970

Once upon a time you were marked with the spirit of strength!  The greatest challenge for you to bite off, is compromise!  It isn’t a thing that comes easily to you.  However, you are a tower of strength to those you are loyal to.  Fair warning, others should beware of you, if you get cross at them!  You are the type to latch on and never forget.  That being said, you’re also devoted and not at all selfish.  You are well known to be gentle, fun loving, playful and protective.  All dogs will defend what is there’s, and will show their teeth if someone is foolish enough to try to steal something away from them.  Flexible isn’t a flavour that you enjoy to swallow!  As a loyal friend, you wouldn’t think to let someone down.  Generally, you are very popular and you are good at remembering special occasions!  Good dog!

WATER DOG – 1922, 1982

Once upon a time you were marked with the spirit of beauty!  You like to play the field before giving your heart to one home.  You are plain and simply sexy in your own playful way.  You are for the most part, fairly easy-going and contemplative.  You’re are impressive to watch and very sympathetic to those in need.  Your heart is in the right place!  Well, it’s just plain hard to beat a warm and willing companion like you!  Affection, is high on your diet, you crave it!  Well, why not when you dig it up so generously!  Who then would be better to give a warm and friendly welcome or to pick right up where you left off.  Best friends!  Home and hearth, that’s for you!  If one is looking for a faithful side-kick, then they would search a long time indeed to find one any finer than you.

WOOD DOG – 1934, 1994

Once upon a time you were marked with the spirit of even temper!  Lucky you!  Your reward in life is obvious by the success that you doggedly achieve by nothing short of hard and dedicated work.  You have an uncanny gift for assessing matters.  You love the arts!  In general, you prefer to take your time warming up to folks.  You don’t take to running and frolicking just anywhere with anybody.  You also don’t have a mean bone in your whole body!  Should you, be left alone for too long, you may be known to whimper and whine a bit from time to time!  This is in no way, makes you a coward.  Born under the sign of the dog, that simply is unheard of!

FIRE DOG – 1946

Once upon a time you were marked with the spirit of natural wildness!  You do lean toward the reckless side at times.  You are not the type of dog one can expect to poke a stick at and not get bitten!  You also will be no stranger to sleeping in the doghouse!  Some may say you like to flirt with danger.   Oh yes, it takes a very special master to try and tame you.  You’re not the shy puppy type, by any means!  Check your car insurance.  Does it seem to keep increasing?  You have a gift for collecting points against you, like most dogs collect bones.  The gift that you do possess, your all time saving grace, is your honesty!  That, and your wonderful charm!  Physical exercise is very good for you.  It helps to burn off excess energy.  Interesting to note, you also enjoy a good mystery or detective story!  Magic may also call to you.  You could end up running with the big dogs in any of these categories!  After all, Houdini was also tagged as the sign of the dog!

EARTH DOG – 1958

Once upon a time, you were marked, with the spirit of survival!  You work hard and play hard.  Hungry as a dog should also fit you!  You give great respect and, you expect it to boomerang back to you!  Serious and successful suit you as well!  You’re not easily shook or discouraged.  You are very optimistic.  You have the ability to sniff out talent and the greatest potential in others!  A wonderful gift indeed!  You also tend to be part of the bury-your-bones in the backyard bred.  Meaning, you like to keep a secret or two to yourself to savoir over later.  You make a very good guard dog.  You’re not the type to be afraid to hold your own and you will meet the enemy eye to eye, and tooth to tooth if the situation calls for it!  The intending enemy should remember, you do wear the collar of survival.
